The Centre is an independent company Limited by Guarantee (reg no:3547276). Its pioneering work and leadership within the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA) and the European Platform for Photodynamic Medicine (EPPM) has earned it a significant international reputation.

A Mobile Unit provides laser equipment and expertise at other hospitals to reduce the need for patient travel by helping consultants to provide treatment at their local hospitals.

The Centre has also been approved to provide Medical Laser Training by the BMLA, EPPM and equipment manufacturers, to help disseminate the skills required for effective medical laser treatment.
